For a while people genuinely believed that purple cannabis came from nutrient deficiencies, or it was somehow dyed, but as avid cannabis breeders we’ve always known that cannabis has many expressions including the vivid purples and pinks in our brand new Purpz strain. These colors come from anthocyanin which is the same naturally occurring chemical found in blueberries and grapes.
