Purpz Feminized Seeds

Purple ganja is back in style and we love that. After experiencing 30 years of cannabis trends here in the country’s cannabis mecca it’s always nice when misinformation doesn’t drive public opinion. For a while people genuinely believed that purple cannabis came from nutrient deficiencies, or it was somehow dyed, but as avid cannabis breeders we’ve always known that cannabis has many expressions including the vivid purples and pinks in our brand new Purpz strain. These colors come from anthocyanin which is the same naturally occurring chemical found in blueberries and grapes. Anthocyanin is an antioxidant and contrary to rumors, doesn’t have any effect on potency. The Purpz is a huge producer that’s purple, has strong fuel terpenes, and looks amazing even when machine trimmed. The buds are dense and form in easy to trim golf ball sizes. Plants grow tall and are resistant to mold and mildews. In 2023 during trials the Purpz was our highest yielding rosin strain averaging around 5% and took first place last year for indoor in “The Leaf Bowl” Oregon’s Largest Cannabis Competition.

We’re proud to have done this with many Emerald Triangle clone classics, Trainwreck and Headband, to name a few and for a strain to reach levels of notoriety in the worlds cannabis strain capital we know it must be special. Banana OG is insanely productive, has that very popular candy gas terpene profile and surprised us with excellent yield as a washer, both in its photoperiod form as well as our autoflower conversion. Expect giant colas that are frosty green with attractive purple highlights in both photo and autoflower form. The Banana OG also displayed resistance to PM, OG’s nemesis as well as other fungal pathogens. Durban Poison Autoflower Seeds

Durban Poison made waves in Humboldt back in the late nineties and a select few legacy cultivators made a point of preserving clones even though the longer flowering time made it less desirable for commercial production. In 2021 we were gifted the original Durban cut and we set out to stabilize it as an autoflower seed line, a process that takes several years and at least four generations of sifting through progeny to keep true to type traits from the original photoperiod version. Fortunately, we kept seed from a minty phenotype of our Mint Jelly Auto, which happens to hold a autoflower world record for potency, was a great place to start the transition of the Durban Poison into an auto. As expected, the Durban Poison isn’t our quickest auto, taking up to 100 days from sprout to harvest, but the reward in yield, cannabinoid content and terpenes make up for the extra couple weeks. These dense light green, incredibly frosty flowers also happen to be one of our best strains for hash production. Expect a terpene explosion that will take you back in time to simpler days!
